Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions according to each patient's plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment with accuracy
• Empower patients through education and home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status clearly to the supervising physical therapist
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and infection-controlled environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license or ability to obtain one
• Ability to implement treatment plans and collaborate with the rehabilitation team
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional standards

Education

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy techniques and treatment plan implementation
• Patient care and mobility assistance
• Clinical documentation and charting
• Patient education and home exercise instruction
• Interdisciplinary collaboration
• Infection control and safety compliance
