Location: Buffalo, MN

Pay Rate: $24/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm

What You'll Do

• Collect blood specimens from patients using established phlebotomy procedures
• Perform specimen collection and processing duties for both clinical and forensic testing
• Accurately label, prepare, and handle specimens for laboratory testing
• Maintain required documentation and records with a high level of accuracy
• Provide excellent customer service while creating a comfortable and professional patient experience
• Follow safety, confidentiality, and quality standards at all times
• Work independently while meeting daily productivity and operational expectations

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required
• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong keyboard and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to support staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
• Ability to meet compliance requirements (Allina credentialing required; vaccinations required: MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB test. COVID and Flu vaccinations strongly recommended)
