As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you will support students’ academic and social-emotional growth in partner public schools. Working full-time on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, and track student progress. You’ll build strong mentoring relationships, foster positive classroom culture, and help lead after-school and enrichment activities. City Year offers a collaborative, inclusive environment focused on social justice, leadership development, and professional growth while making a direct impact in students’ lives.
