Responsibilities Sanitize and disinfect surfaces, rooms, and bathrooms. Dispose of medical waste properly. Maintain floors and equipment cleanliness. Manage cleaning supplies and inventory. Adhere to hospital cleanliness protocols. Report maintenance issues promptly. Respond to emergency cleanups as needed. Other associated hospital housekeeping tasks. A Day in the Life of our Cleaning Specialists Upon arrival, review your cleaning schedule and prepare the necessary supplies for the day's tasks. Clean and disinfect high‑touch areas, patient rooms, restrooms, and common spaces. Manage waste disposal and promptly address spills or emergencies, maintaining a spotless environment while strictly following infection control protocols. Collaborate with the healthcare team, document completed tasks and report any maintenance issues. Your attention to detail guarantees a hygienic, secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements Friendly, energetic and take pride in your work. Work well with others. Speak and read English. Can work 12‑hour shifts. Have a phone and reliable transportation. Complete a 2‑week training program (1 week shadowing and 1 week hands‑on training). Have at least 1 year of janitorial or hospital cleaning experience. Benefits Continuing education and training.
