Job Overview Site Medical Director - Emergency Medicine - Northwest Florida Job Opportunity - Site Medical Director - Emergency Medicine - Northwest Florida Start Date: October 1, 2026 Location: Northwest Florida Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 120 hours per month (33 administrative hours, 87 clinical hours). Clinical shifts are 9-12 hours during day and evening coverage; night shifts as business needs require. Administrative shifts are 8 hours. Highlights Leadership role at a Level 2 Trauma Center (Florida), Level 1 (Alabama) designation 44-bay Emergency Department with patient volume of approximately 1.51 patients per hour Mixed patient population including adults and pediatrics with 25% admission rate Collaborative staffing model with 44 physician hours and 46 APP hours per day Nurse and APP triage support for lower acuity patients Comprehensive orientation including 2 shadow shifts with Regional Medical Director mentorship Requirements Emergency Medicine Board Certification required Minimum 3 years of prior leadership experience in Emergency Medicine Active Florida medical license and DEA registration (or ability to obtain) Case logs for surgical procedures (central lines, intubation, etc.) for the past 2 years Clean professional file and immediate availability Emergency privileges available for qualified candidates Why It's a Great Opportunity This Site Medical Director position offers the ideal balance of clinical practice and administrative leadership in a well-established, high-volume Emergency Department.
