ER Tech - PRN

Job Summary Come join our fast growing Emergency Room Team. Responsibilities Assist the nursing team with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort, and safety of patients. Assist patients with personal hygiene, dressing, and walking. Change bed linens and assist with patient transportation to tests and procedures. Serve and collect food trays and provide patients with between-meal nourishment. Record temperature or vital signs under the direction of a nurse. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; at least one year of patient care experience in a health care facility or as a CNA preferred; or currently enrolled in an accredited Associate or Bachelor’s degree nursing program. Current registration as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina; must be current in the Nurse Aide Registry or be a current nursing student. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Additional Details PRN as-needed position; must be available to work at least 12 hours bi‑weekly, as needed according to departmental demands.
