What You'll Be Doing

• Leading design development from preliminary through final plans on roadway and highway projects
• Managing scope, schedule, budget, and plan production as technical lead
• Coordinating across disciplines — structures, signalization, environmental/permitting, utilities, survey, and right-of-way
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineering staff
• Providing quality assurance and quality control on engineering deliverables
• Building client relationships and contributing to proposal development

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Experience in transportation design, project management, and/or construction inspection — public agency or consulting background welcome
• NYS Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, not required
• Familiarity with MicroStation, OpenRoads, or Civil 3D a plus
• Someone who's ready to bring what they know from the field or from agency work into a firm where that perspective is valued
