Baristas take orders at the counter and make coffee, tea, and other drinks to customer specifications. Baristas work to maintain good customer relations and to ensure the speedy delivery of all beverages, as well as to complete basic assigned tasks every day.Starting pay range is $14.50 - $15.00.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain a gracious, pleasant, and friendly attitude while contributing to a teamwork-based environmentBe customer service-oriented and detail-orientedDemonstrate ability to comprehend and follow both written and oral instructionsAdhere to the company dress and appearance policyAdhere to all sanitation and food production codesEnsure the highest quality preparation and presentation of all served food itemsGuide guests through food, beverage, and promotional items.Present an accurate guest check, accept payment, and quickly complete the transactionResponsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area beginning, during, and at the end of each shiftAccurately input orders into the POS, responsible for receiving accurate payment, and balancing cash.Follow standard hygiene and clothing protocol to maintain a professional appearance at all timesPosition requires slip-resistant shoes.Qualifications:High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferred. Experience in Food Preparation/Service preferred – but not required for consideration. Will be required to submit to E-Verify screening.Physical Requirements:This position requires regular attendance as scheduled in accordance with company labor needs; requires the ability to stand or walk for hours at a time; frequently required to hear, speak, walk, stand, reach, bend, balance, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 40lbs.; requires the ability to tolerate significant temperature changes and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
