IT System Administrator, New Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital (3113)

DescriptionThe IT System Administrator provides onsite technology support and system administration for Brooks Arizona Hospital. This role supports IT systems, applications, end users, endpoint devices, and clinical technologies in an environment with a limited onsite IT team. The position serves as a local technical resource for hospital operations, partners with IT Security, Engineering, Applications, Service Desk, vendors, contractors, and clinical departments, and helps ensure reliable technology operations that support patient care and clinical workflows. This includes support for technologies such as electronic medical records, medication dispensing and pharmacy systems, badge access, clinical communication tools, nurse call and patient room technology, label and wristband printing, shared workstations, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other endpoint devices. This role may also participate in after-hours, on-call, or urgent onsite support as needed to maintain hospital operations and technology availability.Job Responsibilities:Administer and maintain assigned IT systems and application configurations, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Sonifi, RingCentral, Okta, Imprivata, ServiceNow, Wellsky and other enterprise platforms.Provide onsite support for hospital end users, shared workstations, printers, scanners, mobile devices, peripherals, and other IT-supported equipment, coordinating with remote IT teams when escalation is required.Serve as a technical liaison between IT, clinical departments, internal customers, vendors, and contractors to support reliable hospital operations and timely issue resolution.Troubleshoot system, application, device, and end-user issues; provide follow-up communication; and help coordinate resolution through internal teams or vendors as needed.Partner with IT and clinical teams to identify, analyze, and document technical, workflow, and operational needs, including support for system changes, testing, and implementation activities.Create and maintain technical documentation, including configuration details, operational procedures, support workflows, testing plans, and system knowledge articles.Provide onsite support, as needed, for technology maintenance, upgrades, testing, implementations, and related hospital initiativesMaintain strong working relationships with Corporate IT, clinical operations, and other stakeholders.Participate in after-hours, on-call, and urgent support coverage as needed, including support for downtime events, critical issues, go-live activities, and hospital operational needs.Must be able to respond onsite to urgent technology needs within established coverage expectations.Keep technical knowledge current and assist with end-user training, knowledge transfer, and local support readiness.Provide onsite support, as needed, for all technology used throughout clinical and operational areas of the hospitalJob Qualifications:Strong time management, prioritization, and follow-through skillsAbility to work independently in a smaller onsite IT staffing model while collaborating effectively with remote teamsAbility to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospital environmentStrong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills across systems, applications, devices, and end-user support needsStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clinical, operational, technical, and vendor teamsAbility to document support procedures, system changes, testing plans, training materials, and operational workflowsAbility to understand system interfaces, scheduled jobs, data flows, and downstream impacts when troubleshooting issuesAbility to support after-hours, on-call, and urgent hospital technology needs when requiredEducation, experience, training, etc.At least 3 years of IT support or systems administration experienceAssociate degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field preferred.Hospital IT experience strongly preferred, including familiarity with clinical workflows, hospital operations, end-user support needs, and healthcare technology environmentsExperience supporting hospital technologies such as electronic medical records, medication dispensing systems, badge access, nurse call, clinical communication tools, shared workstations, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other endpoint devices preferredExperience administering or supporting systems such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Okta, Imprivata, ServiceNow, RingCentral, Windows endpoints, and related enterprise tools preferredAdvanced knowledge of Windows environments, endpoint support, office productivity tools, and standard IT support practicesITIL, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, or related technical certification preferredOnsite Location: 18500 64th Street, Phoenix, AZQualifications #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Dispatch
