Position Title Soc/Clin Research Assistant - Advanced Location Chapel Hill, NC, United States Employment Details Full-time Permanent; 40 hours per week; Monday – Friday; exact hours to be determined by supervisor and selected candidate. Salary $52,960 – $62,096 per year. Job Summary This position will serve as an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator within the Department of Surgery. The Associate Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the execution of clinical research protocols, including leading efforts in gathering, compiling, and reporting data for a variety of research studies. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Management Preferences Ability to coordinate activities for several sponsored research projects, funded by state and federal grants, private industry contracts, and university collaborations. Ability to multitask effectively with attention to detail, as this position will be responsible for the coordination and management of numerous regulatory and reporting requirements for multiple clinical research projects. Ability to organize and prioritize activities to meet overlapping and competing needs for a number of studies, array of funding sources, and varied nature of the associated reporting schedules. Ability to communicate effectively within and across different disciplines, recognizing the diverse roles and needs of the groups with regard to a given project or contract and facilitating each group’s completion of defined goals. Knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and Code of Federal Regulations relating to the conduct of clinical trials and human subject research and knowledge of medical terminology. #J-18808-Ljbffr Inside Higher Ed
