CDL Class A Driver

Shift: 1st Shift

Schedule: Local Runs - Home Daily

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team. This position offers consistent local work with no runs more than 200 miles out , allowing drivers to be home every day .

Position Overview

The ideal candidate is a safe, dependable professional who takes pride in their driving record, equipment, and customer service. This is a great opportunity for a Class A CDL driver looking for local routes without extended time away from home.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned local routes
Complete deliveries and pickups efficiently and on schedule
Operate within a 200-mile maximum service area
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Secure and transport loads safely
Maintain accurate delivery and trip documentation
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and coworkers
Keep assigned equipment clean and properly maintained
Report mechanical issues, accidents, or other concerns promptly
Maintain a professional and safety-focused attitude at all times

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL required
Previous commercial driving experience preferred
Safe driving record
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
Dependable and punctual
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to safely secure and transport various types of loads
Ability to complete required paperwork and documentation
Must be comfortable performing routine vehicle inspections

1st Shift
Local runs only
Routes no more than 200 miles out
Home daily
$20.00-$30.00/hour , based on experience and qualifications
Full-time position
