What We Are Looking For

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Fabricator to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate has experience fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components used in an industrial manufacturing environment. Successful candidates are safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and take pride in producing high-quality work while working independently and as part of a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:

• Fabricate, assemble, modify, and repair metal components and equipment used throughout the facility.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and work orders.
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, and fit steel and other metals to required specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment including welders, plasma cutters, oxy-fuel torches, band saws, drill presses, grinders, ironworkers, and other shop equipment.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding as required.
• Repair damaged equipment, structures, and production machinery.
• Assist with installation of new equipment and plant improvements.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and fabrication shop in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous fabrication, welding, or metalworking experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience using measuring tools, layout tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and stick welding preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely operate fabrication and welding equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as needed.
