Job Summary:

The Sales Support Coordinator performs administrative duties for the Sales Department including the VP of Small to Medium Business Sales, Sales Directors, and Sales Managers. Performs administrative duties to include preparing a variety of reports, organizing meetings and events, and other general administrative support activities. Requires excellent computer skills, process improvement skills, and the ability to work with all levels of internal customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties

• Prepare and maintain various reports, within strict deadlines, to include but not limited to: sales reports, commission reports, serviceability reports, and status reports.
• Compile, distribute, and maintain documents in electronic and/or physical files
• Develop and maintain documents for presentations including PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets; create business correspondence as needed
• Assist in planning meetings and events
• Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity to any and all information available
• Observe company safety procedures at all times.
• Demonstrate and holds employees accountable for stewardship of the brand to include embodiment of the Shentel Way by ensuring appropriate use of the brand (name, logo, company, appearance, and attitude) within their respective team and organization.
• Contract review and manipulation
• MDU accounts process coordination
• Invoice coding and payment tracking for all leaders in Residential/SMB group

Non-Essential Duties:

General telecommunication industry and sales organization knowledge a plus.

Qualification Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma required; associates degree in related field preferred
• Prior experience using Salesforce or other CRM preferred
• Experience Level: 2- 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Proven planning, organizational, and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications
• Understanding of records management, records retention, and confidentiality
• Strong telephone, email, and video chat skills
• Ability to effectively and professionally interface with all internal and external customers
• Other duties as assigned
