Mammography Technologist - Palmdale, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotation as assigned
• Day shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM (hours may vary based on department needs)
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Floating between different departments within the main campus as needed
• No on-call requirement

Qualifications:

• Valid California Mammography Technician license and CRT (M)-required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential-highly preferred
• BLS certification-required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in mammography-required
• Comfortable with both 2D and 3D screening and diagnostic mammograms, wire/radar localization, and stereotactic biopsies
• Open to first-time travelers

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, including 2D and 3D imaging
• Assist with specialized procedures such as wire and radar localizations and stereotactic biopsies
• Collaborate with staff and float between departments as operationally needed
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and patient confidentiality
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 150 studies
• Provide compassionate, professional interactions with patients throughout their visit
