Job Description
Cranford Park is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic in-house rehab team. If you are motivated, compassionate, and strive to uphold quality care, then this is the job for you!
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients individually to determine strength and mobility issues, pain problems, and treatment needs
- Develop treatment plans for patients based on their care needs and current physical abilities
- Treat patients following a physician’s orders and using various therapeutic techniques to resolve strength, mobility, and functionality issues
- Add notes to patient files regarding performance, progress, and treatment needs
- Demonstrate the proper methods for using therapeutic tools and mobility aids, such as crutches, wheelchairs, and walking canes
- Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
- Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants according to organization policy and state regulations
- Participate in care plan meetings
- Participates in discharge planning for patient
Qualifications:
- Current license from the NJ State Board of Physical Therapy
- Flexible Availability
- Ability to collaborate with other disciplines
- Excellent interpersonal and clinical skills
