Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking reliable and experienced Delivery Drivers to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our client's customers in the the Detroit Metro area. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving and providing exceptional customer service.

7:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday

$21.50/hr.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

Safely operate delivery vehicles-adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Unload goods from the vehicle and deliver to customer
Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner-be the face of the company
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
Maintain communication with Dispatcher
Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance-report repairs needed
Maintain accurate delivery records-complete all necessary paperwork daily

Delivery Driver Qualifications:

Valid Chauffeur's license with DOT card and clean driving record
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or a similar role
Ability to drive various types of delivery vehicles
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English - bilingual is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong knowledge of Metro Detroit roads and streets
Ability to navigate using maps and GPS
