Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required. Must be MLT / MLS ASCP certified (client specific).
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience required. Experience in high-volume hospital environments required (client specific).
• Extensive core lab experience required: Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation (client specific).
• Sunquest experience required (client specific).
• Experience with Roche PRO chemistry, Sysmex XN hematology, Siemens UN3000 urinalysis, and Stago Compact Max coagulation preferred (client specific).
• BLS certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of technical experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• Previous experience training new employees and students preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Nights.
• Typical hours include 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. for scheduled shifts every other weekend and every other holiday (client specific).
• May be required to float within the Greenville market (client specific).
