As a Senior Product Designer on the Ads & Brands team, you will shape the future of monetization at Roblox by designing for our core Ads Platform and Tooling. You will build complex, scalable systems that power both sides of our market: helping advertisers launch high-impact campaigns while empowering creators to maximize their earnings.

This role sits at the intersection of deep systems thinking, business impact, and high-craft UX/UI. You will partner with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Research, and Data Science to deliver experiences that balance player delight, creator opportunity, and brand value. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, enhancing developer earnings, and transforming multi-faceted ecosystems into intuitive, powerful tools. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Product Design, Ads & Brands.

You will:

• Define UX strategy and design direction for Roblox’s Ads Platform and tooling
• Design and evolve complex, end-to-end experiences that help advertisers launch impactful campaigns and creators maximize their earning potential.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data Science to translate business goals and user needs into intuitive, effective product experiences.
• Use data and strong intuition to identify opportunities, validate design direction, and drive continuous improvement.
• Prototype and iterate on complex interactions in Figma, Ai prototyping tool and, when needed, Roblox Studio to bring concepts to life and test ideas quickly.
• Collaborate with Foundation Design Systems and other design teams to ensure consistency, scalability, and a high bar for craft across Ads experiences.
• Navigate ambiguity and influence product strategy, helping shape solutions across a multi-faceted ecosystem with many interconnected users and stakeholders.
• Communicate design strategy, rationale, and tradeoffs clearly to cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
• Contribute to design culture through mentorship, critique, and raising the bar for product thinking, systems thinking, and craft.
• Understand the unique needs of players, creators, and brands to design experiences that create mutual value across the ecosystem.

You have:

• 8+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of shipping consumer-facing, platform, or complex B2B products.
• A portfolio demonstrating exceptional interaction and visual design craft, paired with strong product, systems, and strategic thinking.
• Experience designing complex workflows, platforms, or tools that serve multiple user types and business needs.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, and confidence in prototyping complex, multi-state interactions and systems.
• Experience with advertising, commerce, monetization, creator platforms, marketplaces, or other multi-sided ecosystems.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence cross-functional decisions, and balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate design strategy and rationale to both working teams and senior leadership.
• A passion for immersive platforms, gaming, user-generated content, or tools that enable people to create and express themselves.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page .

Annual Salary Range

$255,720—$304,560 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
