Family Support Manager - Southwest Florida Hendry/Glades Description: Better Together is seeking a compassionate and mission-driven Family Support Manager to support families in crisis through the Better Families Program. This field-based role focuses on assessing family needs, matching children and families with volunteer host families, developing individualized support plans, and providing ongoing coaching and mentorship to help families achieve reunification and long-term stability. The position requires frequent travel throughout the community, collaboration with volunteers and community partners, and participation in an on-call rotation. Qualifications: Must reside in Hendry or Glades Counties. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Family Studies, or a related human services field required; Master's degree preferred. Experience working with vulnerable children and families or equivalent experience. Child Welfare Certification (preferred). Strong leadership, communication, coaching, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a remote, field-based environment. Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, vehicle registration, and auto insurance. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and monthly on-call shifts. Experience or willingness to learn Salesforce, Basecamp, WordPress, and Zapier. Ability to lift 20–30 pounds and perform physical activities required during community outreach and home visits.
