Project Manager

Our client is a construction firm with over 25 years of experience, specializing in projects across Washington, DC. The company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring effective project delivery and client satisfaction. This is a Full-time, Direct Hire opportunity based in Washington, DC, with a salary range of $110,000 to $130,000. Responsibilities: Coordinate with the project Superintendent and team to oversee all construction activities from start to finish Facilitate project startup activities and preconstruction meetings Ensure work is conducted safely and in accordance with standards Manage change orders, budget forecasting, payment applications, and invoice approvals Maintain and update project schedules, develop fragnets and 'what-if' scenarios Manage RFIs, submittals, material tracking, and meeting documentation Prepare deliverables and facilitate progress meetings with stakeholders Oversee document control and coordinate with clients, design teams, and consultants Manage QA/QC procedures, punch lists, and subcontractor progress/compliance Oversee project closeout including final documentation and owner turnover Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in the construction industry Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (equivalent experience considered) Proven ability to manage cost, schedule, and client relationships on complex projects Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient with construction management software and standard office tools Ability to build positive relationships with subcontractors, clients, and design consultants What the client offers: Competitive salary commensurate with experience Full health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with employer matching through John Hancock Retirement 529 College Savings Plan A reputable company with a strong project pipeline across DC A dedicated team that takes pride in their work Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy: Employment Enterprises, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
