Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Security Engineer IV (Cloud Security Engineer - SRE) to join their innovative team. As a Security Engineer IV (Cloud Security Engineer - SRE), you will be part of the Security Operations Department supporting the Cloud Security and Site Reliability Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Alpharetta, GA / Columbus, OH / Berkeley Heights, NJ / Frisco, TX - Onsite

What's the Job?

• Design, implement, and manage cloud security solutions to protect organizational data and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and automate security processes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, security alerts, and incident reports to ensure system reliability and security.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews to improve security measures.

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby.
• Deep understanding of systems administration, including Linux/Unix operating systems and configurations.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services such as EC2, S3, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
