About Alpha Recovery Center

Alpha Recovery Center is a DHCS-licensed and Joint Commission-accredited substance use disorder treatment provider offering detoxification, residential treatment, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services.

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically experienced Licensed Therapist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions while maintaining high standards of clinical care, professional ethics, documentation, and accountability.

Position Summary

The Licensed Therapist provides individual and group psychotherapy, comprehensive clinical assessments, individualized treatment planning, crisis intervention, and discharge planning for clients receiving substance use disorder and behavioral health treatment.

This position works closely with the Clinical Director, Medical Director, nursing staff, counselors, and case managers to ensure coordinated, evidence-based, client-centered treatment.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Services

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical risk assessments.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy across assigned levels of care.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and trauma-informed care.
• Assess and address co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable clinical goals.
• Review and update treatment plans based on client progress and clinical needs.
• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and appropriate clinical referrals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and case consultations.
• Support discharge planning, relapse prevention, and continuity of care
