SharePoint Administrator

The SharePoint Administrator will manage, support, and optimize our Microsoft SharePoint environment. This remote, part-time role is responsible for maintaining SharePoint Online sites, managing permissions, supporting end users, and ensuring platform reliability and security within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SharePoint Online environments
• Configure and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and permissions
• Monitor system health, usage, storage, and security settings
• Support end users with troubleshooting and training
• Manage user access and governance policies
• Create and maintain documentation for SharePoint processes and standards
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to improve workflows
• Implement and support automation using Microsoft Power Automate
• Assist with SharePoint migrations and integrations
• Ensure backup, compliance, and data retention policies are followed

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience administering Microsoft SharePoint
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
• Knowledge of SharePoint Online permissions and security best practices
• Familiarity with:
• Microsoft Teams
• OneDrive
• Microsoft Power Automate
• Microsoft Power Apps
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
