The Mental Health Technician at Wagoner Community Hospital plays a crucial role in supporting the mental health care team and ensuring the well-being of patients. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a mental health technician training program or relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
• Basic understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a mental health facility or with individuals experiencing mental health issues.
• BLS

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
• Monitor and document patient behavior, mood, and progress, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
• Implement treatment plans as directed by mental health professionals, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
