Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Vacaville, California This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. The primary responsibility of a Master Maintenance Mechanic is to maximize equipment availability for processing by safely maintaining equipment through Preventive and Corrective maintenance and repairs. Responsibility will include providing personnel 24/hours/day, 7 days per week for maintenance, discrepancy response, contractor oversight, vendor resource management, project support and training. All Process Maintenance Mechanics are trained to perform routine maintenance in the primary manufacturing support areas and Materials Management, Quality Control Labs, and Utility Operations. Safe operation of tools and shop equipment, and safe execution of work in the field; working at heights using fall protection and work positioners. Confined Space Entry in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Ability to read and understand piping and instrumentation drawings, and technical manuals. Basic computer skills with the ability to utilize corporate intranet and applications, CMMS, and standard word processing and spreadsheet programs (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.). Interact and communicate appropriately with Manufacturing, Quality, Technology, and Engineering to ensure satisfactory performance of mechanical systems. Train other mechanics in group and individual settings on qualified tasks represent Process Maintenance on multidisciplinary project teams. Shift Day Shift : 6:00am - 6:30pm OR Night Shift: 6:00pm - 6:30am What we look for High School Diploma or GED Strong understanding of industrial process maintenance and systems. Uses ability as a skilled specialist in accordance with company policies and procedures to complete complex assignments within defined parameters. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with reasonable accommodations. Experienced in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and calibration management programs; SAP experience preferred.
