DetailsPosted:UnknownLocation:Salary:Summary:Summary here.DetailsPosted: 01-May-26Location: Tasley, VirginiaType: Full TimeSalary: $89,604.65 - $110,664.01 DOECategories:Information TechnologySalary Details:Pension, 401k, bonus, insuranceSummary:The IT/OT Supervisor serves as the senior technical lead responsible for the design, implementation, security, and operation of IT/OT systems.Acts as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, lead infrastructure and security initiatives, and operate with a high degree of autonomy to maintain reliable and secure Cooperative operations.Objectives:Own and maintain IT/OT systems and security services across the Cooperative.Identify, prioritize, and execute IT/OT improvements and initiatives.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT/OT staff and users.Manage projects, daily tasks, and support requests.Provide technical leadership to staff and coordinate vendors and service providers.Promote and adhere to the Cooperative’s safety and operating rules, procedures, and guidelines.Reporting Relationships:Reports to: Manager/Director of Technology (IT/OT)Supervises: IT/OT Specialist, IT/OT System Administrator, IT/OT Systems & Security SpecialistDirects: Various outside vendors associated with IT/OT and cyber security.Responsibilities:Serve as the final escalation point for complex infrastructure, network, and security issues.Independently diagnose and resolve issues beyond standard administrator skill level.Lead design, architecture, and continuous improvement of IT/OT systems.Identify and remediate technical debt and system weaknesses.Drive infrastructure and security projects from planning through execution.Manage and develop direct-report employees, including evaluations, training, and performance feedback.Work with the Manager/Director of Technology to define and execute IT/OT strategy.Own and maintain IT/OT-related equipment and software, including but not limited to local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), switches, firewalls, computers, tablets, peripherals, telecommunications systems, and building surveillance and access systems. Collaborate with technical service providers in these areas as needed.Perform systems analysis, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network, hardware, software, security, and any other technology issues.Support and maintain cyber and physical security standards and requirements, as well as security solutions including firewall, endpoint protection, email filtering, patching, SIEM, XDR, and intrusion detection systems.Document processes, procedures, and operations regarding IT/OT.Own and maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software, and licensing.Research technology topics and make recommendations to the Manager/Director of Technology (IT/OT).Provide input during the evaluation and acquisition process of the Cooperative’s IT/OT systems including hardware, software, services, etc.Deploy, configure, and maintain multiple virtual and physical servers and workstations in local and hosted environments. Collaborate with technical service providers in these areas as needed.Utilize IT/OT support ticket system to manage, track, document, and resolve support issues.Ensure successful backups and restorations of all required systems. Collaborate with technical service providers in these areas as needed.Develop technical assistance materials, including training materials, reference sheets, manuals, procedures, exercises, and visual displays.Attain and maintain approved certifications as required.Respond 24/7/365 to infrequent urgent requests and critical issues.Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Technical Skills:Manage and support VMware vSphere and Microsoft Windows environment.Manage and support Microsoft AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS, GPO, Office 365, Exchange Online, etc.Manage and support a stable network environment including LAN, WAN, VPN, VoIP, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.Implement, configure, and manage SaaS systems.Maintain and monitor cybersecurity using SIEM, MFA, IDS, endpoint protection, patching, etc.Troubleshoot and resolve/repair issues for PCs, mobile devices, software, Windows, etc.Configure and implement Windows PCs, iPads, iPhones, and other hardware.Troubleshoot and resolve network and system performance issues.Utilize basic project management methods to see projects through to completion.Experience with any of the following or similar technologies is a strong plus: Aruba, Cisco, Meraki, SonicWall, PRTG, Avaya Cloud Office, PowerShell, Veeam, SentinelOne, SecureWorks, AppRiver, KnowBe4, NISC.Relationships:InternalPerform as a member of the Technology Department and work with all Cooperative departments concerning Information Technology and Operational Technology.ExternalProfessionally interact with vendors, technical service providers, consultants, member-consumers, and the public.Education:Minimum of associate degree from an accredited two-year or four-year college or university and three (3) years’ experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems desired. Five (5) years of experience in a related field will be considered in lieu of education.Technology certifications highly preferred: CompTia (A+, Network+, Security+), Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, etc.(Security+ with A+ and/or Network+ certification attainment required within twelve (12) months of hire. Other approved certifications may be substituted.)Experience:Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems, or network administration.Experience leading infrastructure or security initiatives required.Supervisory experience preferred but not required.Incumbent should possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in an information technology and support environment, preferably a cooperative. 1 year or more supervisory experience is desired.Job Knowledge:Strong systems, network, and security troubleshooting skills.Experience working in a multi-system environment with both IT and OT technologies.Familiarity with NISC solutions preferred.General Abilities and Skills:Work independently with minimal direction.Prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.Maintain high standards of accuracy and accountability.Adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.Must have high ethical standards.Communication Skills:Clear written and verbal communication.Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.Computer Skills: Advanced computer knowledge required.
