Our organization, located in Hudson, NY, is seeking a full-time Emergency Department Nocturnist Physician to fill a position that has become available due to retirement. The Emergency Department team operates within Columbia Memorial Hospital, Albany Medical Center, and Glens Falls Hospital. You will be joining an ED Director who has been with us since 2007 and has held the director role since 2016.

Position Overview:

• Full-time commitment is defined as 120 hours each month.
• Shifts are structured as 12-hour blocks:
  • Option available for a daytime schedule.
• Faculty position with Albany Medical College.
• Direct and seamless transfers to Albany Medical Center, the largest trauma and tertiary facility in the region.
• Benefit from 24-hour coverage by physicians and APPs, along with scribe support.
• Opportunity to work at a trauma center if desired.
• Research and teaching opportunities are accessible.

Facility Information:

• The Emergency Department at CMH handles approximately 28,000 visits annually.
• Offers major services including surgery, hospital care, GI, pulmonary critical care, ICU, interventional radiology, and orthopedics.
• It is the sole hospital serving Columbia and Greene counties.
• Utilizes Epic EMR across the entire health system.

Compensation:

• Daytime rate: $205/hour
• Nighttime rate: $245/hour
