Sales Director - Senior Living

Role Description The Sales Director – Senior Living – Prelease New Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Chevy Chase, MD. This role leads all prelease sales activities for a new senior living community, including building and managing the sales pipeline, conducting tours and presentations, and guiding prospective residents and families through the decision-making process. The Sales Director develops and executes sales and outreach strategies, nurtures referral partnerships, and collaborates with marketing to drive qualified leads. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate CRM records, analyzing sales metrics, preparing reports, and ensuring a high level of customer service and follow-up. The role also involves coordinating closely with operations and leadership teams to align occupancy goals with community readiness, while representing Galerie Living’s brand and values in all interactions. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Business Development, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding occupancy and revenue targets. Experience in Sales Operations, including CRM usage, pipeline management, forecasting, and sales reporting. Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, listen actively, and support residents and families through complex decisions. Proven Team Management capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners. Background in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or related service-oriented industries is highly beneficial. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work on-site in Chevy Chase, MD, with flexibility for events, tours, and occasional evening or weekend activities. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
