We are excited to announce the opening of a new Japanese Fine Dining restaurant and are seeking quality servers who are both hospitality professionals and pride themselves in the craftsmanship, culture and thoughtfulness of fine dining experiences. The ideal candidate will aid the service team in curating the guest experience. Deliver warm and authentic hospitality. And execute synchronized service with precision and grace. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a prestigious culinary establishment, bringing authentic Japanese cuisine to our community. We are looking for skilled and motivated assistants with the awareness to read a dining room and anticipate our guests needs without interrupting their experiences. Those that can lead by example. Help in communicating and shaping our culture. Provide service that is both truly memorable and leaves a lasting impression. Develop lasting professional relationships with our guests and team members alike. 

It is essential that our service team matches the prestige of our cuisine and as a server assistant you will be a major contributor to our FOH team. We believe true hospitality cannot be scripted. It comes from observation, empathy, humility, and genuine care. Every interaction whether with a guest or a teammate is an opportunity to leave someone feeling better than when they arrived. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fine dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring top-tier service and contributing in a team oriented environment.
• Clearly and accurately communicate with our chefs, beverage, and support teams.
• Develop extensive knowledge of Japanese culinary traditions, Kaiseki chef tasting menus and Omakase.
• Maintain impeccable table presentation and dining room standards.
• Take pride in attention to detail.
• Contribute to daily service preparation and continuous team improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of serving experience in fine dining, ideally Japanese or other high-end cuisine. 
• Strong team-building skills. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Ability to manage high-pressure, fast-paced service periods. 
• Knowledge of tasting menu design and FOH operations. 
• Passion for hospitality and dedication to creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Preferred

• Strong communication skills. 
• Fine dining experience.
• Experience in opening a new restaurant.
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
