Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years in apheresis or dialysis with central lines and ports License: Must have prior to start Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: Plasma Exchange and Red Blood Cell Exchange experience Ability to cannulate AV fistula Ability to cannulate AV graft Acute Care Inpatient Dialysis Apheresis treatment Blood prime Blood return Chronic Outpatient Dialysis Infection control Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Post apheresis treatment Red blood cell exchange Therapeutic Plasma Exchange/Plasmapheresis Tunneled and non-tunneled catheter placement Description: This position involves providing nursing care for patients undergoing apheresis treatments. Candidates must have experience with apheresis equipment or related dialysis experience. Knowledge of infection control protocols is critical. This role requires the ability to manage acute care patients and perform procedures such as blood prime and return. The work will involve collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Candidates may be expected to provide support for GVHD, BO, CTCL, and photopheresis cases. Familiarity with charting systems is required. This role may involve on-call duties as part of schedule requirements. Floating within the hospital may be necessary as per staffing needs. Must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the contract period.
