Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Receiver / Stocker to join our team! You will be receiving orders, restocking, organizing and playing a pivotal roll around the restaurant.

You are passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences through good, quality food. With previous experience as receiver, you can manage multiple priorities and contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere. Ideally, you have your ServeSafe or Food Handlers certification. You also have an attention for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and can manage multiple projects at one time. You excel at keeping an organized and clean walk-in and are committed to ensuring that your co-workers do the same. 

 
Responsibilities  

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries for quality, accuracy, and proper temperatures before accepting product. 
• Organize, label, rotate, and stock all food and supply deliveries using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles and proper food storage hierarchy to ensure food safety and minimize waste. 
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary walk-ins, freezers, dry storage, chemical storage, and other back-of-house storage areas. 
• Properly put away fresh product immediately upon delivery to maintain product quality and food safety standards. 
• Safely transport food, supplies, equipment, and other restaurant materials between company locations using a company vehicle while following all traffic laws, food safety standards, and company procedures. 
• Monitor inventory organization and communicate any shortages, damaged products, or quality concerns to the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty. 
• Assist with inventory organization, storage projects, equipment moves, deep cleaning, and other operational projects throughout the building. 
• Ensure all storage areas remain safe, accessible, and compliant with health department standards. 
• Support kitchen and management teams with stocking requests and other operational needs throughout the shift. 
• Communicate with the incoming shift regarding outstanding deliveries, stocking priorities, or projects requiring follow-up. 
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty.

 
Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid California driver's license
• Maintain a driving record that meets the eligibility requirements of the Company's insurance carrier to operate company vehicles. 
• Previous experience as a receiver or stocker preferred
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
