The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult critical care settings and possess the necessary certifications and experience to provide exceptional care to our patients. Key Responsibilities\n \n Provide respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients in critical care environments. \n Perform extubation, nasal airway placements, and oral airway placements. \n Conduct patient suctioning and pulmonary hygiene measures. \n Collect sputum specimens and administer various respiratory medications including albuterol, Atrovent, and Spiriva through different delivery systems. \n Utilize nebulizers, BiPAP, and CPAP equipment effectively. \n Troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and assist in weaning patients from mechanical ventilation. \n Maintain thorough documentation and charting using EPIC. \n Qualifications\n \n Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. \n Active RRT license required; pending licenses are not accepted. \n Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory. \n Experience required in Trauma Level 1 settings. \n Proficiency in adult critical care work is essential. \n Scheduling Details\n \n Shift: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. \n Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, subject to change as needed. \n Requests for time off and special scheduling must be submitted at the time of application and are subject to facility approval. \n Additional Requirements\n \n Able to float to different units as needed based on qualifications and competencies. \n Experience with advanced respiratory interventions and patient management techniques. \n \n If you are a passionate Respiratory Therapist looking to make a difference in patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. \n \n Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID 37944045.
