Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Baker City, Oregon
Shift/Schedule: Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, weekday schedule
Pay/Compensation: $51.72 to $53.72 per hour

A leading regional healthcare provider known for patient-centric care is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Baker City. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders. This 13-week assignment suits an independent clinician comfortable in a smaller community hospital.

• Contract assignment, 3 months with possible extension
• Work setting: onsite
• Openings: 1
• Anticipated start: within the next two to three weeks
• Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility

• Evaluate speech, language, cognition and swallowing function
• Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and recommend diets
• Educate patients and families on goals and home programs
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy and physician teams
• Document evaluations and progress notes in the EHR

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification
• Eligible for an Oregon SLP license
• Minimum 1 year of recent SLP experience in a medical setting
• Current BLS certification
• Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility (travel requirement)

• Acute care or inpatient rehab experience
• Experience with MBSS or FEES
• Epic experience
• Travel or contract assignment experience at multiple facilities
• Strong references from recent clinical managers
• Flexibility to work varied shifts when the unit needs support
