Job PostingTop CNC shop in the Grafton area is looking to expand and add skilled CNC Machinists to their 1st and 2nd shifts. Great company culture and regular overtime!Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Under limited supervision, performs moderate/complex machining and fittings of numerous kinds of parts in support of production and job shop machiningOperate 3 axis and 5 axis vertical machining centersFor basic jobs, layout work from blueprints, sketches, and written specificationsFor moderate/complex jobs, develop processes and setupsPerform progressive machining operations on work involving close tolerances and/or high finish requirementsEnsure dimensional accuracy and quality workmanshipComplete time travelers, time slips, required inspections, and appropriate paperworkProvide feedback to improve programs, processes, tooling etc.Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean workstationTrain apprentices and new hires, as requiredRequirements:Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED 3-6 years of demonstrated experience or equivalentQualifications & Skills:Proficient ability to read and interpret blueprints & mechanical drawingsProficient ability to read micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and gagesProficient ability to operate manual and CNC machining equipmentProficient knowledge of carbide drills, end mills, inserted cutters, and boring toolingBasic knowledge of Mitsubishi Controls, preferredBasic knowledge of Heidenhain Controls, preferredProficient knowledge of G & M code programmingProficient knowledge of feeds & speedsExtensive ability to measure/inspect: lengths, diameters, straightness, flatness, etc.Proficient knowledge of the machineability of ferrous and non-ferrous materialsBenefits:15% Shift Premium for 2nd shift401K with Company MatchingHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Profit SharingReferral BonusesCompany Paid DisabilityCompany Paid Life InsuranceSafety Shoe Reimbursement
