Job Description
Registered Nurse - Long-Term Care

Schedule: Nights (7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid

Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Valid state or compact RN license
- 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills required
- Flexibility to work 24/7 and float to other units as needed

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents in a therapeutic environment.
- Collaborate with care providers to ensure resident needs are met.
- Utilize verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to support residents with dementia/Alzheimer's.
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as required.
- Monitor and document changes in residents' conditions, reporting significant findings.
- Support residents in achieving their rehabilitation goals in a short-term care setting.

- Previous employees are not accepted.
- Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
- St. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
- Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
