Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Brooklyn, NY 11218. This is a 3 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Duration : 03+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Shift : Mon to Fri: 8am to 4pm Alternate Saturdays: 8am to 1pm

Payrate : $20-22/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Details:

• The Patient Services Representative I(PSR I) represent the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
\n
• The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
\n
• The PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
\n
• The PSR I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center or as business needs dictate.
\n
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
\n

• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
\n
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include paediatric and geriatric.
\n
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

Education:

\n
• High school diploma or equivalent.
\n
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
\n
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
\n

Work Experience :

\n
• Minimum of 6 months experience.
\n
• One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
\n
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
\n
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
\n
