Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications\n•\tHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred\n•\t5+ years of warehouse or inventory management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, including 2+ years directly supervising a team\n•\tHands-on experience processing inventory transactions in Infor SyteLine (or a comparable ERP/WMS system) is required\n•\tDemonstrated inventory accuracy and cycle-count experience\n•\tStrong organizational and communication skills; comfortable directing a crew across receiving, issuing, and cycle-count activities\n•\tBasic proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Office

Job Description

Job Summary\nThe Warehouse Manager is responsible for the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, pipe, fittings, and consumables supporting pipe fabrication and welding operations. This role owns inventory accuracy and transaction integrity within Infor SyteLine and leads a warehouse crew of 8-10 to ensure materials reach the shop floor on time and in the right condition to keep cutting and welding jobs running without delay.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nReceiving\n•\tInspect, verify, and receive incoming pipe, fittings, and materials against purchase orders and packing lists\n•\tFlag and document discrepancies, damage, or shortages, and coordinate resolution with Purchasing\nIssuing Materials\n•\tPull and stage materials for shop floor jobs\n•\tPrioritize and sequence material issues to match the production schedule and avoid production delays\nERP Transactions\n•\tProcess all receiving, issuing, transfer, and adjustment transactions accurately and on time in Infor SyteLine\n•\tMaintain lot/heat traceability records in support of the facility’s QC traceability program\n•\tInvestigate and correct transaction errors and inventory discrepancies\nInventory Management\n•\tMaintain accurate perpetual inventory counts; lead or support cycle counts and physical inventories\n•\tOrganize and maintain warehouse layout, item locations, and labeling for efficient storage and retrieval\n•\tMonitor stock levels and flag reorder needs to Purchasing\n•\tEnsure FIFO/lot rotation and proper storage practices to prevent material damage or obsolescence\nCrew Supervision\n•\tSupervise, schedule, and coordinate a warehouse crew of 8-10\n•\tTrain staff on receiving, issuing, and ERP transaction procedures as necessary\n•\tEnforce safety procedures and housekeeping standards in the warehouse and staging areas\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nDirectly supervises a warehouse crew of 8-10, including performance management, scheduling, and day-to-day work assignment. Reports to the Plant Manager and coordinates closely with Production, Purchasing, and Management to keep materials flowing to the shop floor.\n\nCompensation: $85k - 95K Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
