Position Overview Security Officer – Office Complex, Detroit, MI Full Time, $18.50 per hour Job Schedule Wednesday: 04:00 PM – 10:00 PM Thursday: 04:00 PM – 10:00 PM Friday: 04:00 PM – 10:00 PM Saturday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM Sunday: 12:00 PM – 09:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Observe and report suspicious activity or unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal management. Document routine activities, incidents, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation and drug screening may be required as a condition of employment. Criminal history will be considered in accordance with applicable laws. Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
