Job Description

Salary Range: $245k–$400k (varies depending on years of experience)

An expanding multi-hospital health system in Northern New Jersey is seeking two Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologists to help revitalize and grow its neurology services at one of its community hospital locations.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and rebuild a neurology program within a supportive, patient-centered hospital network.

About the Opportunity

• Hospital-based position within a multi-site healthcare system
\n
• Opportunity to help develop and strengthen a growing neurology department

• Primarily adult patient population (limited pediatric exposure)
\n
• Flexibility in site coverage — may be based at one location or rotate across sites
\n
• Community-focused setting with strong interdisciplinary collaboration

Clinical Responsibilities

\n
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurological conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings
\n
• Provide care for patients with stroke, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, and other complex neurologic presentations
\n
• Participate in acute stroke evaluations and collaborate with emergency and critical care teams
\n
• Interpret EEGs, neuroimaging, and other diagnostic studies
\n
• Develop individualized care plans and coordinate follow-up treatment
\n
• Work closely with neurosurgery, rehabilitation, and hospitalist teams
\n
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation within the EMR
\n
• Contribute to program development and quality initiatives
\n

Ideal Background

\n
• MD or DO from an accredited institution
\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
\n
• Fellowship training in Stroke, Epilepsy, or TBI preferred
\n
• Will consider candidates completing fellowship (not accepting physicians directly out of residency without further training)
\n
