Supply Clerk

POSITION PURPOSE

The supply clerk will help the Tool and Equipment Manager at our West Campus (Gypsum).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITES

1. Accounting support at the Company’s West Campus (Gypsum) to include updating and reconciling tool and consumable inventory, updating production for the marble shop, including associated paperwork
2. Prepare monthly and quarterly Sales/Use Tax and Occupational Privilege Tax returns
3. Enter material transfers/logs
4. Create PO’s for the West Campus
5. Helps with early morning and throughout the day customers
6. Send small tools back to the manufacturer for warranty
7. Order consumables to restock the warehouse
8. Helps maintenance shop with paperwork
9. Helps inventory maintenance shop consumables
10. Reconciliation and coding of corporate credit cards
11. Process assigned vendor invoices
12. Clean and organize consumable room
13. Other duties as assigned
14. Models the Gallegos values and mission.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Must have knowledge of office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard equipment, at a level generally acquired through three years of related experience.
2. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy and a positive attitude.
3. Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
4. Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
5. Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and external clients on a daily basis.

Education:

1. High School Degree or minimum of 1 year construction accounting experience

Computer/Typing:

1. Must have knowledge of office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard equipment, at a level generally acquired through three years of related experience.
2. Must have knowledge and proficient use of a variety of computer software applications in MS Office suite, especially MS Excel as well preferred experience with accounting specific software

Language Ability:

1. Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English
