About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely delivery of shipments.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Utilize dispatch software to track vehicle locations and optimize routes.
• Monitor driver performance and adherence to safety regulations.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of cargo.
• Assist in training new dispatch team members on procedures and protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and vehicle maintenance.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and adjust schedules as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in dispatch or logistics coordination preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or Dispatching 
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Familiarity with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Proficient in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
