Overview Registered Nurse – PCU, Burlington, Vermont. This travel assignment starts 04/20/2026 for 16 weeks in a hospital setting, with a weekly pay range of $2,372 to $2,533 and no guaranteed hours. Shift is a 3x12 rotating schedule (12-hour shifts, day/night). This is a travel - temporary assignment. Monitor cardiovascular status, vital signs, telemetry, and response to interventions; respond to changes in patient condition. Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders; manage infusions as indicated. Perform ongoing patient assessments, document findings and plan of care in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including cardiology, nursing colleagues, and ancillary staff; participate in care coordination and discharge planning. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, medications, and post-discharge instructions. Requirements Active Registered Nurse license (RN) in good standing. Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU/Telemetry or cardiology, with post‑cath, STEMI, and structural heart patient exposure. Certifications: NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS, and BLS; NIHSS required prior to start. EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years. May be required to float to other units within the Central Pool PCU as needed. Travel experience preferred; reliable transportation is required due to limited public transit in the area.
