Senior Contracts Portfolio Manager

Overview

JST is currently seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Portfolio Manager. The Manager will provide oversight and senior-level management to overall contract operations often involving multiple projects/tasks and groups of personnel at various locations. The Portfolio Manager will also support the entire program with ongoing contractual/acquisition activities that include drafting and coordinating required contract modifications.

Sr Contracts Portfolio Manager Responsibilities

• Provides senior-level management support to client's global contracting support operations involving multiple projects/tasks and groups of globally dispersed government stakeholders/customers.
• The Contracts Manager maintains and cultivates internal and external relationships and is responsible for briefing client management staff and supported customers on overall contract portfolio status in support of federal programs and/or projects
• Support the client(s) assigned program/project efforts with ongoing contractual/acquisition management expertise, that include but not limited documentation supporting all aspects of the acquisition/contracting lifecycle, official memorandums, position papers and/or related congressional inquiries on program acquisition activities.
• Manage, setup and/or sustain client acquisition/contracting records management, governance and compliance in support of acquisition & contracting portfolio.
• The Sr. Contract Manager is expected to provide acquisition subject matter expertise. The Contract Manager shall have demonstrated experience interacting with acquisition functional support offices, and managing daily acquisition & contracting workforce management tasks.
• The CM assigns & manages personnel to projects and is ultimately responsible for output quality controls and team performance objectives.
• Reviews progress of all obligations and maintains sufficient familiarity with operating and financial programs to make early recommendations for reprogramming actions

Sr Contracts Portfolio Manager Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Acquisitions and Contract Management
• 8+ years of experience in federal contracting
• MBA or Masters in Business related field
• DAWIA Contracting Level III or equivalent CPCM or CFCM certification
• 25% travel required
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer engagement and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams; improve productivity and maximize efficiency
• Experience with tech integration, workflow optimization, and process automation desired.

Required Clearances and Screenings

• MUST have an active secret clearance
• MUST be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check
