Personal Banker II - Brea

The Personal Banker II position provides an exceptional customer experience by building and maintaining long‑lasting relationships with existing and prospective customers, offering financial solutions across their lifecycle using a consultative sales and service process. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Create a memorable customer experience by cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing relationships in an assigned book of business through proactive outreach efforts in person, over the phone, or through other appropriate channels. Use a consultative approach with current or prospective customers to uncover and identify their needs while tailoring recommendations, solutions, and advice. Maintain working knowledge of products, services, and processes offered. Work collaboratively with internal partners to ensure customers’ needs are met and all problems are resolved. Analyze customer credit data and other related financial information to ensure customers are in the appropriate solutions that align with their needs. Provide customer support needed to reinforce the value of current and new technology. Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, modeling the ethical behavior expected from every employee. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience, or a college degree, or equivalent military experience. Experience in a sales environment required; experience in the financial industry a plus. Ability to develop comfort with both new household acquisitions and deepening customer relationships. Professional verbal and written communication skills, representing Fifth Third Bank. Capability to analyze credit and financial information. Strong business acumen and sound decision‑making ability. Requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Working Conditions Normal office environment; extended computer screen use; periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint for meetings and training. Total Base Pay Range Base salary range: $44,300.00 - $73,000.00 USD per year. Eligible for an incentive compensation plan based on individual performance.
