Sr Associate Scientist, FPD

Gilead Sciences seeks a senior associate scientist to develop formulations and drug product processes for innovative biologics. The role involves designing experiments, characterizing therapeutics, authoring technical documents, and collaborating across functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments for formulation and drug product development activities
• Perform analytical and biophysical characterization; demonstrate proficiency in process development techniques
• Document data accurately in lab notebooks, reports, and protocols following good documentation practices
• Author technical documents including protocols, regulatory dossiers, and prepare presentations for internal and external audiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project strategy and support regulatory filings

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with BS in life science or related field; or 3+ years with MS degree
• Hands-on laboratory experience required
• Experience with formulation development and drug product process development
• Experience with monoclonal antibodies, bispecifics, antibody-drug conjugates, or complex biologics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze data independently and document findings thoroughly

Compensation: $126,820–$164,120 base
