This residency bridges the gap between classroom theory and real‑world application through: Practitioner‑assisted stretching Neuromuscular education Client interaction and communication Hands‑on mobility training Professional development and mentorship Over the course of the program, Residents will transition from student learners to Certified Stretch Zone Practitioners while gaining experience working with active adults, athletes, and wellness‑focused clients. Certification & Training Pathway Residents participate in a nationally recognized certification process within the Stretch Zone system. Virtual Education Requirement Residents are responsible for completing the required virtual training coursework and educational modules prior to full certification. Qualifications Current enrollment in (or graduate of) a Fitness, Wellness, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Health Science‑related program preferred Passion for health, wellness, athletic recovery, or human performance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable transportation Professional appearance and attitude Ability to maintain a consistent 12‑hour weekly schedule High school diploma required Leadership experience is a plus Evaluation & Performance Standards Residents participate in structured monthly evaluations focused on professional growth and clinical development.
