Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Alcoma Dental Associates . This position is for full time Monday-Thursday.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.

Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques

Familiarity with medical imaging procedures

Experience with documentation review and adherence to HIPAA regulations

Knowledge of infection control practices within a dental setting

Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Duties

Conduct patient assessments and review medical history

Perform dental cleanings and preventive procedures

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and disease prevention

Take needed x-rays including bitewings, PAs, and panoramic x-rays using a unit on which you would be trained

Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft dental software

Administer local anesthesia under the direction of a dentist if certified and if needed
