Role Description The Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations across resort facilities, villas, and common areas. This position plans, schedules, and supervises routine and preventive maintenance, ensuring equipment, building systems, and grounds are safe, functional, and well-presented. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating and performing repairs, responding to work orders, conducting inspections, and maintaining maintenance records. The Maintenance Manager collaborates with resort leadership and vendors, manages maintenance supplies, and helps ensure compliance with safety standards and resort policies. The role supports a guest-focused environment by promptly addressing maintenance issues to minimize disruption and maintain a high-quality experience. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Maintenance Management and Supervisory Skills to lead daily operations and direct maintenance personnel or contractors. Candidates should possess Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills to troubleshoot, service, and repair building systems, tools, and resort infrastructure. Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to establish schedules, perform inspections, and proactively address issues before they affect operations. Relevant experience in facilities, hospitality, or property maintenance; knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry is required, this is a hands on position. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a resort environment. Ability to work on-site, perform hands-on physical tasks safely, and communicate effectively with team members and guests.
