Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Veteran Disability Assessments We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to conduct medical assessments for US Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The role involves performing focused, in‑person physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records to complete required VA documentation. Key Responsibilities Conduct in‑person disability assessments for US Veterans. Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal. Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms. Provide medical opinions based on assessment findings. Use computer and provided tools for documentation. Note: This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication. Disability determinations are made by the US Department of Veterans Affairs, not by the provider. Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines. Proficient in electronic documentation and web‑based portals. Professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans.
