Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for ER patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, perform assessments, administer treatments, and respond to changes in condition.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians and other disciplines.
- Collect relevant health data, develop and implement an individualized plan of care, and participate in discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families, provide health information, and promote a safe, healing environment.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure smooth handoffs and transitions of care.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (Oregon) or eligibility to practice in the state of assignment
- BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor; ACLS and PALS certifications required (AHA-ACLS/ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS/ARC-PALS)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
- BSN preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to work nights in a high-volume emergency department
- Vaccination requirements may apply as a condition of employment; E-Verify participation is in effect
